The things you do

I was at a certain large craft store this weekend to pick up some gingham for another Built By Wendy top when I spied this crazy skull fabric and remembered a request from my husband: to make him a pair of pajama pants with skulls. I don't get it, but I'll do it. Cuz I'm a good wife.

I made my shirt first though.

You know, I'm starting to get inspired! You've got two new shirts, they look so comfy and easy to make. Maybe I could?

Love that skull fabric! Do you use a pattern for the pajama pants? I've been thinking about trying to make some for my husband, but need to find a pattern to use.

Your top looks so light and breezy-- seems like it will be wonderful for summer. :)

Yeah, my husband's keen on the skulls too. I'm pleased to see you did the top for yourself first.

What a lucky husband you have. That fabric might be the only thing my husband would wear except for his usual plaid flannel.

Oh gosh that shirt is great! For your first one it is so wonderful- I can't believe you used a print like that- it must have been a little hard to get it to look right. Skull bottoms? That should be fun

I personally love the skull fabric.
I am collecting the stuff to make a skull themed quilt.
Ok I am a bit weird but it takes all!
Could you tell me who makes it?

Jacquie: Yes, you could. The pattern is very easy since it has raglan sleeves. (Simplicity 3835)

Robine: I am going to use Simplicity 4381 for the skull pants because it has a fly. I've used Simplicity 3947 for PJ bottoms for myself.

Trina: The selvage says "Shamash & Sons Pattern P5098". I bought it at Joanns Fabrics. I'll do you one better though...email me your address and I'll send you the remnants from the PJ pants.
