Dear Jane B-13

Kinda a Nine-Patch but with teeny corner squares (1.25 inches raw) which were a b****h to sew on the machine. I chose a fabric with a larger motif to frame in the center. But not too centered, ya know, on purpose.

I think this quote is going to be very inspiring to me during this process: "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame)

See more B-13s here.

Gorgeous! Oh and BTW, Guess what... Tag! Your it! (I didn't start this, just following the rules!) Here’s the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Beautiful! I love that 9-patch configuration :) There are so many variations on that style, and I love the one you've chosen.

Also wanted to let you know I'm having a giveaway on my blog right now. Stop on by if you get a chance!

Leave it to Dilbert for true wisdom! The fabric you chose for this quilt is really dynamic. I admire you for taking on this challenge...I had a fleeting thought about giving it a try. Then I thought better. It's going to be fun watching your progress. Thanks for the flickr invite! I do love two color quilts!

HEy there!

I am doing the Dear Jane too. I started last year, then got busy and fizzled out. Maybe doing it with the group will keep me in the thick of it? Great block, love the wine and white!

Cheers,
Tia
